About The Clinic

Founded in 2002 by Dr. Jenny Ingram, the mandate of the Kawartha Regional Memory Clinic is to provide comprehensive holistic geriatric assessments with a focus on offering a means for early assessment and analysis of patients with cognitive complaints.

Patients come to the clinic by physician referral and are

drawn from the Central East Local Health Integration Network, which stretches from Scarborough, across Durham, into

Northumberland, Peterborough City and County, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. It is not unusual for patients to travel over two hours to attend the clinic.

There are five arms of specialized practice operating under the umbrella of the Kawartha Regional Memory Clinic:

Research/Clinical Trials/Experimental Medications

Memory/Dementia

Education/Preceptorship/Community Development

Kawartha Capacity Assessors

General Medicine/Osteoporosis/Falls
